Tea, Honey. If I could have a superpower this would most likely be my kryptonite, I kid you not. As I mentioned in my Winter Wear post, in South Africa it is winter and with winter comes colds and flu.

Let me tell you friends, I am not a fan. I recently caught the flu germ that was going around and with it came and unbelievably sore cough which made my throat so raw and irritating. But, I have found the magic cure. Freshpack Rooibos Ginger Tea which is R18.95 and any Honey of your choice. I have been using Little Bee honey I get it at Dischem Pharmacy for R39.95.

I just boil water, put my tea bag in the cup and stir till its a very light golden brown colour I then strain the tea bag out and put two teaspoons of honey. This is like gold for a sore throat and the cough. It soothes the burn and the irritation. I had one small cu[ in the morning and one at night for a week and now I have a cup everyday. It was such a help, because I am a full time receptionist so having a cough and a grainy voice at the front desk is not ideal.

So ladies, this is one of my really big staples when I am ill and its really been a saving grace for me.

So if anyone has any comments, suggestions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me, I look so forward to hearing from you. :)

OHHH HONEY CHILD (yes, yes I said that in a southern accent). So beautiful ladies, in South Africa we have hit the heart of winter, and let me tell you its freezing!!

But, do not fear I have some tricks up my sleeve LITERALLY and I'm about to make your day. well i certainly hope so.

In my above pictures, the first one is my Beautiful Sister Quanita Davids if you would like to follow her I will list her social media below :). So back to fashion, we get cold and long coats and jerseys are so sleek is you want to make a statement, this past weekend we popped into Legit Clothing and found this beautiful fleece navy green waterfall coat and it was a only R399.00. She then paired it with a green polo neck, white pants and nude high under the knee boots. This look is so effortless but a wonderful way to wear a statement piece such as this waterfall coat.

In the second Photo is yours truly (ME) haha. And im the exact opposite to my sister. She is very Girly and soulful, where as I am very tomboyish with a edge. I went into Checkers Hyper Clothing and I found this dark grey wool jersey for R199.99. Its so warm and textured, perfect for any outfit you need to kick up a tad, I paired it with a plain black long sleeve top that I got at Mr Price for R49.99, dark blue denim jeans that I got at Ackermans for R135.00, a scarf that my sister bought for me as a gift in Clarens and my Favourite Sneaker for the season a grey and powder pink Addidas Supercloud that I purchased at Footgear for R600.00, it was on sale and I was a happy customer.

I can literally pair any outfit with sneakers, even a dress. You can Make it classy ladies trust me. My Fashion sense is very simple with a lot of different statement pieces whether its colour, cut, texture or any other factor that makes it different and exciting that you can dress down or up depending on your mood (that is so me). Have fun with fashion and don't be intimidated by anything else you see, find pieces that suit your body type and make you feel confident, I for one want to know what your winter style is, so hit me up :) click on my contact feature if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns. Remember to follow me on instagram, pinterest and twitter. I look so forward to hearing from you, happy Thursday.

Good Morning Ladies, so Mondays are always Bleh for me and one reason is because I slay my face on the weekend and mondays one needs a fresh face for work and the new week ahead. My go to for removing my makeup after I've word it all day is my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I have very sensitive skin, and this Hypoallergenic makeup remover is everything. It removes makeup with ease, and does not burn my skin or cause any redness after useage. I apply this product on a cotton pad and remove my eye makeup first and then i apply the product to a second cotton pad and remove the rest of my face makeup.

My skin care routine has been changing over the years and the one that resonates with my skin the most with regards to my hyper-pigmentation is the Garnier Even and Matte Range. I use their gentle clarifying foam first, I put about a 50c size in my hand and use warm water to activate the product, I lather it on my skin and rub it around my face is small circles and it forms a foam I then rinse the product off with warm water. Next I use their soft smoothing toner, I apply a small amount to my cotton pad as I would with my cleansing water and apply it on my face, the texture surprised me at first cause usually toners are light and wet, where as this one is thicker and even white almost like a baby shampoo consistency. But the results are so good, it softens my skin and refreshes it instantly. Lastly I use their Ideal Complexion Daily cream for normal to dry skin. In winter my skin is so dry and grey so this cream gives my face a beautiful revitalized Finish without feeling heavy or oily at all.

So Ladies, this is my Daily routine day and night. looking after your skin is such a big beauty step, look for products that will not harm your skin but enhance its texture and beauty without damage. Like i mentioned I had tried so many different products that were in my budget and effective in my skincare. I paid a Whooping R129.80 for all four of these amazing products, at dischem. You dont have to pay an arm and a leg to take good care of your skin. This is my Skincare Monday done for you, if you have any questions concerns, or any suggestions please do contact me on my blog, email or any of my other social media platforms.  I look forward to hearing FROM YOU.

My first blog post, and it's a FLOWER. Yes it's a rose, that I found on the farm of my sister's in laws. I walked over and saw the beautiful yet bruised flower and realised it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It represents that beauty can grow out of anything and no matter what it looks like the value it adds is priceless. All I want is my blog to inspire, encourage and promote natural beauty no matter where or how we find it. Welcome to my blog beautiful people. 
